The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India has recently issued orders assigning new IPS officers to the Telugu states. Three officers have been assigned to Andhra Pradesh and six officers have been assigned to Telangana. All of these officers are from the 2022 batch.
The officers assigned to Telangana are:
- Ayesha Fatima
- Mandharae Soham Suneel
- Sai Kiran
- Manan Bhatt
- Rahul Kant
- Rutvik Saiini
It is known that Chief Minister (CM) Revanth Reddy, who met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his recent visit to Delhi, requested that additional IPS officers be assigned to Telangana. The names of the officers assigned to Andhra Pradesh are yet to be clarified.
